Welcome!

Welcome to an inside look at my journey to becoming a writer. I've decided that while I'm unemployed, I am going to try writing a book. It's something I've thought about doing before, but I think now is finally the time to do it. I know it's going to be hard and filled with frustration but I also know the product at the end will absolutely be worth it. I'm 29 and have gone both the undergraduate and law school routes and so far neither has produced a worthwhile job. So it's time to try something else. I'm mostly new to this writing fiction thing, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

I'll be writing here about my experiences as I write. I'm also a prolific reader, so I'll be sharing what I'm reading as well. I'll try to write here every day, but I make no promises. I don't know where this journey is going to take me, but I'm excited to start.
